Ingredients
  1. 1c fresh oregano leaves, washed
  2. 1/4c finely chopped pecans
  3. 1tbsp olive oil
  4. 1/2tsp lemon zest
  5. 1/4tsp balsamic vinegar
  6. 1/4tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Finely chop oregano with a chef knife and mix thoroughly with remaining ingredients
  2. OR
  3. Combine all ingredients in a small food processor and blend until well-mixed and relatively smooth.
Serving Suggestions
  1. Serve over pasta, as a dip, or as a sauce in lasagna.
Substitutions
  1. Substitute any nuts for the pecans
  2. Substitute 2-3 springs of fresh lemon balm for lemon zest and chop finely with oregano
