Description
Natural, unscented soaps made with animal and/or vegetable oils. These are cold process soaps, which are made by combining oils and sodium hydroxide (lye). This causes a chemical reaction called saponification, which is how fats are converted to soap.
Some of these soaps have undergone superfatting, the addition of another oil just before pouring the soap into the mold. This makes the soaps more mild and aids in makeup removal.
Each bar is wrapped in a piece of fabric to prevent sticking with a label listing its ingredients.
As a testament to how natural the scent is, Squeak has tried to eat them if a bar is left in her reach. As most cat owners can attest, cats are normally repulsed by soaps!
